Introduction :
Ganesha is the god that removes obstacles and is known as bringing good luck and prosperity. It means “Ruler of the Crowd”. He is the son of Siva and Parvati and is worshiped as a god to achieve wisdom. Ganesha serves Siva and as the head of Gana to rule the crowd. There are many poems be printed at the beginning of academic books, expressing about the faith of Ganesha.
Ganesha has an elephant face, long nose, teeth and four arms. He uses a snake as a belt to wrap around the waist and is riding on a rat. Have faith in this Goad is believed to be occurred in India around 6 – 7 centuries. Ganesha is the chief God of Gānapatya stream. The faith in Ganesha is still flourishing even today. “The great joy Mahesvara”『大歡喜自在天』is accepted in Buddhism, especially the esoteric Buddhism.

簡介:
Ganesha 象頭神是消除障礙物、據說能帶來好運和繁榮的神,有『群眾統治者』的意思。他是 Siva Parvati 的兒子,作為成就智慧而崇拜的神。Ganesha是侍奉 Siva,統治 Gana 人群的神。學術著作上的開頭登載了很多表達對這神關於歸依意思的詩句。
他的模樣是有大象的臉孔、長鼻子、牙齒、四隻手,用蛇作腰帶圍在腰間,騎着老鼠。相信這神作為信仰的,被認為始於印度約六、七世紀前後。他是印度教 Gānapatya  派的主神。時至今日,這信仰依然興盛。佛教,特別密中,奉行『大歡喜自在天』。
