Introduction :

It is the musical instrument of Andes aborigines in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and elsewhere and its structure is similar as panpipe. It is called Antara, or in Spanish, Zampona which means pipe or tube.

Quena笛子是安第斯山脈，用嘴巴吹奏的樂器，用竹或木製造。昔日，用動物或人類的骨製造。前方有6個孔，而後方則有1個孔，只有男士才可以吹奏。

With a history of one thousand years, this instrument is made of bamboo or reed by the tribes in northeast Thailand (Isan). Together with Thai xylophone (pong lang), it is a main instrument of ensemble. Besides, WOT, VOTE, VOT is used to communicate with God of Water for harvest. Tubes with different lengths can be attached in circular shape and can also be attached in a row as pan flute.

這樂器擁有千年的歷史，是泰國東北部（Isan）的部族用竹或蘆葦製成，與泰國木琴　(pong lang)　都是合奏的主要樂器。另外，WOT, VOTE, VOT是為了秋收，用來作為與水神溝通的一種工具。可把不同長度的管，粘貼成圓形，也可粘貼成一排，像排笛般。
