Introduction :
With a history
of one thousand years, this instrument is made of bamboo or reed by the tribes
in northeast Thailand (Isan). Together with Thai xylophone (pong
lang), it is a main instrument of ensemble. Besides,
WOT, VOTE, VOT is used to communicate with God
of Water for harvest. Tubes with different lengths can be attached in circular
shape and can also be attached in a row as pan flute.
簡介：
這樂器擁有千年的歷史，是泰國東北部（Isan）的部族用竹或蘆葦製成，與泰國木琴 (pong lang) 都是合奏的主要樂器。另外，WOT, VOTE, VOT是為了秋收，用來作為與水神溝通的一種工具。可把不同長度的管，粘貼成圓形，也可粘貼成一排，像排笛般。
