Introduction :

Folk Guitar is plucked stringed instruments with 4 strings.

The guitar’s wide appeal as folk instrument led to its current pre-eminent role in rock and pop music. The instrument has a long history and, although as a classical instrument it has hardly figured in the orchestra, its solo repertoire is extensive.

The modern or classical guitar developed from the short-necked lutes that appeared in central Asia during the fourth and third centuries BC. Many pictures from the ensuing millennium depict instruments exhibiting guitar-like characteristics. However, the guitar as we know it today has its roots in the Renaissance period.

民俗結他是四弦、彈撥的弦樂器。

作為民間樂器，結他有廣泛的吸引力，在搖滾音樂和流行音樂中佔有重要的位置。結他具有悠久的歷史，雖然作為古典樂器，但在樂團中幾乎不被演奏，惟其獨奏則是廣泛的。
現代或古典結他，由公元前第四和第三世紀中亞地區出現的短頸琵琶發展出來。隨後千年，都有許多照片描繪有結他特性的樂器。然而，我們今天認知的結他源自文藝復興時期。
