Introduction :

Monkey Drum is a kind of frame drum. The monkey drum is spun so that the pellets strike the skins to produce sound and it is used to train monkeys.

Frame drums consist of one or two membranes stretched over a simple frame. Made of thin wood, the frame is usually shallow and adds little resonance when the skin is beaten. Most frames are circular but other shapes are also found. Drums of this type originated in the Middle East and are still common there.

簡介：

猴子鼓是框鼓的一種。搖動猴子鼓，使連繫在鼓身的木顆粒敲擊鼓面，產生聲音。它用於訓練猴子。
框鼓由一個或兩個皮膜，拉緊覆蓋於一個簡單的框架上。框架由薄木板製成，通常深度是淺的。敲打鼓面，增加了共鳴。大部份框架是圓形的，但也有其他形狀。這類型的鼓起源於中東，至今仍很普遍。
