Introduction :

Tara Buddhist Saint and the Goddess of Mercy are the most popular Buddhist Saints in Tibet. In Sanskrit, Tara is a name, in Tibetan, it is called dolma. Dolma is the most common female name in Tibet. As soon as we know Tibetan Buddhism, Tara is the most often heard and encountered Buddhist Saint. However, Bodhisattva Tara exposed her breasts, with sharp eye expressions, exotic woman look and green skin colour. This is a very unfamiliar look and has not seen at all in Buddhism arts. Therefore, the parent statue showing sexual expression, scary looking Bodhisattva Fire and Tibetan Buddhism are regarded as non-canonical Buddhist and be doubted as pseudo-Buddhist. Nevertheless, when Bodhisattva Tara gets to be known well, many Korean Buddhists like her.

Tara 菩薩與觀世音是西藏最受尊崇的菩薩。Tara 是梵文的名字，西藏語稱為卓瑪，卓瑪是西藏最常見的女性名字。

因此，在藏傳佛教，Tara菩薩是最經常聽到、接觸到的菩薩。但是，Tara菩薩露出整個乳房，擁有眼梢尖銳的異國女性外觀，再加上綠色的膚色，在佛教美術上，是從來沒有看過、很陌生的模樣。因此，表現性交合狀態的父母像、嚇人樣子的火菩薩像及藏傳佛教均被認為不是正規的佛教，被懷疑是似是而非的佛教。但得知Tara菩薩是一位怎樣的菩薩後，有很多韓國的佛教徒喜愛她。
