Introduction :

Talking Drum is a West African, hourglass-shaped drum. Besides Talking Drum, Kalungu and Adondo, depending on different regions, there are many names for Talking Drum. Talking Drum is struck with a curved beater with a hemispherical tip. The pitch can be modified by adjusting the tension of the membrane by tightening or loosening the tensioning ropes, and thus the intonation of the human voice can be imitated.

Talking Drums are important drums used by several West African peoples to imitate the tonal quality of their languages. Moreover, they are capable of conveying signals over a large distance.

簡介：
會說話的鼓是沙漏形狀的西非鼓。除了『會說話的鼓』、Kalungu和Adondo外，在不同地區，它有許多不同的名字。會說話的鼓是用一枝彎形、半球形尖端的棒子敲打來發出聲音。拉緊或鬆開連繫鼓面的繩索，可以調整鼓面的張力，改變鼓的音高，從而模仿人類的聲音語調。
會說話的鼓在西非很重要，很多西非民族都用它來模仿他們語言的音質。此外，會說話的鼓能夠於長距離傳遞、傳播信號及信息。

Introduction :

Pangi Shell Shaker is a very simple shaker. It is made of dried fruit (pangi) shell. When the whole body of the pangi shell shaker is shaken or struck, sound is produced.

果實 Pangi 殼製的搖響樂器是一個非常簡單的搖響樂器、搖鈴。它是由曬乾了的果實 Pangi 殼所製成的。當搖動或敲擊這樂器，便會發出聲音。
